Research Designs

Research designs in implementation science are often complex and multifaceted, as they account for the dynamic nature of healthcare settings and human behavior. Examples of implementation research designs include randomized controlled trials, which are often conducted in clusters rather than randomization on the individual-level, quasi-experimental designs, which are used when randomization is not feasible, and hybrid designs, which combine elements of implementation and effectiveness research.
