Participant Expectations

It is expected that course participants will dedicate up to 4 hours per week to this online course.

Each week, participants will view a multi-part video lecture and will be responsible for completing a quiz and practicum exercise related to the topic for the week. The practicum will demonstrate how to apply the technique in a standard statistical package (STATA®) and provide practice problems so that the concept is reinforced.

Those participants who view all videos and complete the lecture quizzes and practicum quizzes associated with 80% of course content will earn a certificate of completion.

Completing the Course

Participants who watch 80% of course lecture videos in Units 2-6, complete 80% of the practicums in Units 2-6, complete 80% of the lecture and practicum quizzes in Units 2-6, and complete one full unit of specialized content in Units 7-9 will receive a certificate of participation from the Harvard Catalyst Postgraduate Education Program.
