Symposium: Ninth Annual DF/HCC Cancer Disparities Research

This year’s virtual symposium will feature a keynote lecture by Don Dizon, MD, director of Pelvic Malignancies Program and Hematology-Oncology Outpatient Clinics at Lifespan Cancer Institute, director of Medical Oncology at Rhode Island Hospital, and founder of Oncology Sexual Health First Responders Program. The topic of his talk will focus on the intersectionality of cancer and the LGBT community. A panel discussion will follow the keynote on “The Intersection of LGBTQ + Identity, Reace, and the Cancer Experience.” This event is co-sponsored by our Community Engagement program.
