Forum: Art Meets Science – Reimagining Medical Imagery and Health Equity

Join us for an asynchronous film screening and live panel discussion about The (In)visible Organ, a documentary film about how technology, storytelling, and art come together to reimagine how we think and feel about the cervix and sexual/reproductive health more broadly. It tells the story of the Callascope, a low-cost device developed to increase access to cervical self-imaging, as well as an art campaign reflecting on personal experiences with their reproductive anatomy. Filmmaker Andrea Kim will be in conversation with Callascope technologists/researchers to reflect on the role of art, technology, and meaning-making as drivers for global health equity.
