Webinar: Achieving Equity in Cancer Clinical Trials – Partnering with Communities

Advancements due to cancer clinical trials have significantly reduced cancer mortality over the past decade. However, these advancements are not reaching populations equitably. Barriers inherent in the design, accrual, and applicability of cancer clinical trials have resulted in participation among predominantly non-Latinx White and affluent populations with cancer. In this webinar, we will evaluate social justice, clinical trial design, community-based and organizational approaches to overcome structural barriers to ensuring equitable cancer clinical trial participation.
