Information session: Innovations & Interventions – GI Surgical Leaks Pilot Funding

Funding opportunity In conjunction with Johnson & Johnson Innovation and its affiliates (J&J Innovation and its affiliates), seeking highly innovative proposals directed at reducing the complications resulting from post-surgery gastrointestinal (GI) leaks with the goal to reduce complications and improve outcomes. Proposals can include, but are not limited to the following areas: relevant animal models, detection of high-risk patients, development of prophylactic treatments, intraoperative GI leaks detection, and early detection of post-surgical GI leaks. Up to $50,000 in pilot funding is available, with multiple awards anticipated.

Information sessions providing additional material and details will be held via Zoom February 16 & 24 at 10:00am. Applications are due March 12, 2021.
