Using Peer-Led Working Groups to Advance Equity /
MRCT Accountability Model
The accountability model, adapted from the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard, illustrates the many stakeholders in the clinical research enterprise who are responsible for improving diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Graphic shows “Accountability” written in a large circle with smaller circles around it representing different stakeholders. These stakeholders are journal editors, sponsors, funders, CROs, Research Institutions & sites, investigators & study teams, healthcare professionals, participants, advocates, communities, regulatory agencies, and IRBs/ethics committees.
