HMS Account (eCommons) Resources

Your HMS account credentials consist of your HMS ID, formerly referred to as your “eCommons ID,” and a password that you set.

Harvard Key Resources

HarvardKey is Harvard University’s user identity authentication system. Your HarvardKey account allows you to securely access applications and services across the University using a single login name and password.

Which Account Can I Get?

Faculty, staff, and students of: Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Harvard University Division of Medical Sciences (FAS/GSAS). (Note: includes faculty of hospital affiliates)

Non-Harvard, e.g., MIT, Boston College, Contractors/Consultants

Guest HMS Account
If you are not affiliated with Harvard or Harvard Medical School and believe you have a business need to gain access as an external contributor, you may be eligible for a Guest HMS Account. Please discuss this with your primary HMS contact/program.
