Workshop: Introduction to Image Analysis Using ImageJ/Fiji

The Image Analysis Collaboratory (IAC) at Harvard Medical School is running the “Introduction to image analysis using ImageJ/Fiji” workshop. This beginner-friendly program is designed to teach foundational concepts in bioimage analysis using the Fiji open-source software.

Taking place over two afternoons, the workshop combines tutorials with hands-on exercises and it is tailored for those new to image analysis. The workshop will cover topics such as the basics of bioimage analysis, displaying digital images (including colors, LUT, and scale), image segmentation using classical and machine learning approaches, morphological operations/filtering, spot detection, and measurements.
