Training program: Nucleate Activator

Applications are now open for the Nucleate Activator, a free, equity-free program that helps academic trainees turn their life science ideas into startups. Whether you’re working on cutting-edge research in human health (Bio Track) or sustainability (Eco Track), or just want to join a founding team as a business, scientific, or clinical contributor, we’d love to see you apply.

Program highlights:

• Supports the earliest stage: No need to have incorporated.
• No equity. No fees: Our program is completely free.
• Facilitates team formation without enforced co-founder relationships.
• Expert mentoring + networking: Hands-on workshops, expert mentorship, and investor connections
• Funding/resources opportunities: Access to millions in grants, SAFE funding, lab space, and other resources

Since 2019, Nucleate has built strong capabilities for supporting biotech founders out of academia, resulting in the creation of over 800 jobs and the raising of $570M in funding to develop technologies like protein sequencing (Glyphic), drug design (Manifold Bio), and microbial fertilizer (Ivu Biologics).

Our goal at Nucleate is to help academic innovators and trainees bring ideas to market by connecting them with the resources, networks, and mentorship needed to launch successful biotech ventures.
