Training program: Clinical and Translational (C/T) Research Academy

Two-year program offering advanced training in clinical and translational (c/t) investigation and a mentored research experience to clinicians and PhD researchers in Harvard-based clinical fellowships. ⁠This program focuses on clinical trial and study design, computational/statistical sciences, epidemiology, drug development, translational pharmacology, biomedical ethics, genetics and omics technology, and commercializing innovations.

There will be two information sessions held via Zoom on December 13 from 5:00-5:30pm and December 14 from 12:00-12:30pm. Registration is not required. Those interested can find Zoom information here.

Audience:

Advanced training for early career clinicians and researchers seeking to strengthen their knowledge in C/T research via a structured didactic curriculum and a mentored research experience with an HMS faculty member. The program offers a pathway for highly meritorious candidates to acquire key research skills that will assist in developing competitive applications for career development awards and the transition to independence.

Eligibility:

• MD, DMD, PhD
• Must be a clinical or research fellow in a Harvard-affiliated academic health center, preparing for or currently conducting C/T research with a Harvard-based mentor. Additionally, must have two full years of salary support and 75 percent protected time available at the time of admission to the program.

Funding Level:

No cost for participants.
