Seminar: Tuberculosis Care

Join us for a discussion about tuberculosis care. Our speakers will share their expertise on innovative approaches to TB treatment and the importance of a biosocial approach in providing care.

Sirisha Papineni, MMSc ‘20, is the research and evaluation head for a TB program in India, and she will discuss deploying “differentiated care” models for TB. Jude Beauchamp, MD, MMSc ’17, completed his thesis work on TB care in Haiti, and has worked on TB care in Liberia. He will present on the necessity for a biosocial approach in care provision. MMSc-GHD program director Joia Mukherjee, MD, MPH, will moderate the discussion.
