Medical Device Development: Advancing from Product to Market

Course on the medical device development industry. Participants choose from online only or hybrid options. Includes case studies of real-world challenges in device development, key factors in regulatory decision-making, and more. Participants have the option to compete in a pitch competition in-person at the Harvard Medical School campus at the course conclusion.
Time commitment:
Online: Participants can expect to complete three to four hours per week of asynchronous coursework, including videos and assignments. Three 90-minute synchronous panels will take place in March & April 2024.
In-person: The one-day in-person session will take place on May 1, 2024 on the Harvard Medical School campus. Exact location and agenda will be sent to participants.
Eligibility:
- BA, BS or equivalent
Open to all with a product in development or appropriate role in product development and an interest in learning more about medical device development.
Fee:
Free for Harvard-affiliated institutions
Non-CTSA member: $2000.00
CTSA member: $1500.00
Online components only (no live virtual sessions or interaction with course director): $1000.00
