The country has developed new policies and institutions to modernize nursing as an advanced practice discipline, with leaders effecting change at universities, within government, and across healthcare settings. Join the Connell School of Nursing for our first-ever international Pinnacle Lecture speakers, featuring Gennaro Rocco, RN, MScN, PhD, FAAN, FFNMRCSI, and Alessandro Stievano, RN, MScN, PhD, FAAN, FFNMRCSI. These pioneering nurse leaders will discuss how Italy has achieved systematic change through the development of the Centre of Excellence for Nursing Scholarship of OPI Rome Italy. They’ll share their vision for the future of nursing and explain why international collaboration is key to the profession’s further advance.

Lecture attendees receive 1.2 contact hours for nursing continuing education. These may be used for RN license renewal in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and in other states where they are accepted.
