Part of CTSA Visiting Scholars Program, a series of virtual lectures featuring KL2 awardees from clinical and translational science centers (CTSA). Kelly Mahaney, of Stanford University, will present her research on intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) clearance from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) following severe hemorrhage in preterm neonates and the correlations with severe ventricular enlargement and clinical hydrocephalus. The talk will provide an overview of current management of severe neonatal IVH and future research directions.
