Lecture: Advancing the Health Sciences through Scientific Storytelling

Please join Boston College’s Connell School of Nursing for its Pinnacle Lecture.

Filmmaker and producer Denetra Hampton will screen her film “The Black Angels,” about Black nurses in the 1940s who risked their lives to care for patients with tuberculosis, and talk about her work. Hampton is a Navy veteran, a former officer in the U.S. Naval Nurse Corps, and the founder of the media platform “For Nurses, By Nurses Productions.”
