Grand rounds: Home Time as a Patient-Centered Outcome in Pragmatic Trials: Promises, Pitfalls and the Path Forward
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) Imbedded Pragmatic Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and AD-related dementias (ADRD) Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Collaboratory works to build the nation’s capacity to conduct pragmatic clinical trials (ePCTs) of interventions embedded within healthcare systems for people living with dementia and their care partners.
This month’s event features Claire Ankuda, MD, MPH, associate professor, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dae Hyun Kim, MD, MPH, ScD, associate director of Marcus Institute for Aging Research, professor of medicine, Harvard Medical School, and Courtney Van Houtven, PhD, professor, population health sciences, Duke University School of Medicine and Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy. The event will be moderated by Laura Hanson, MD, MPH, professor, University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
