Funding: Mass General Hospital – Harvard Career Development Program in Substance Use and Addiction Medicine
Funding for postdoctoral clinician scientists and junior faculty (MD, PhD or equivalent) to receive support for training and career development in substance use and addiction medicine. Nancy Rigotti and Eden Evins (Principal Investigators) oversee the NIH-sponsored K12 career development grant from NIDA. The award aims to help the Scholar establish an independent research program in patient-oriented substance use and addiction research.
Scholars will be sponsored for two to three years of salary and receive project support and intensive mentored research training and career development with Harvard faculty in basic, translational, or clinical aspects of research in addiction medicine.
Applications are now being accepted for scholars to start the program in July 2021. Applications from women and minorities are highly encouraged.
Timeline for recruitment: application due by November 13 2020, 5 pm EST; notification of award will be made in December 2020
