Funding: Harvard University Center for Aids Research Developmental Awards – November 20

Applications are due on November 20, 2019 at 4pm for awards beginning February 1, 2020. The RFP is released twice per year and the schedule allows for funding with an earliest possible start date of August 1st and February 1st of each year.

The HU CFAR also offers special emphasis RFPs. The current cycle is also seeking awards for proposals related to Community Engaged Research to Address HIV Prevention, Care, and Treatment Challenges. Please see the Community Engaged Research RFP for further details on funding and eligibility.

Eligibility for Developmental Awards: The Developmental Award is intended to support junior investigators who are on a career path leading to an independent research project. This is recognized as an extended transition, and applications will be considered from candidates beginning at the time of their transition from a training grant or similar support to mentored independent research (K level) funding to the point at which they have received NIH R01 or similar level funding.
