Funding: BWH Dermatology NIH Training Grant
The BWH Department of Dermatology is seeking candidates for postdoctoral training in biomedical research. We will have positions available on our NIH Training Grant for this funding period. Funding is available, starting before April 30th, 2020 for one year, with the expectation for renewal for a second year of funding. Candidates must be willing to commit at least two years to postdoctoral training. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and should be committed to an academic career. Preference is given to Dermatology trained physician scientists.
Funding includes a stipend equivalent to the PGY level and $1,000 travel funds. (Please note: Host laboratories are responsible for paying any difference in salary between Partners clinical PGY level and NIH PGY stipend level from non-NIH funds.) The 12-month period of funding will begin on the effective appointment date to the Training Grant.
All interested candidates are asked to submit:
• A completed application form
• A brief research proposal including references (not to exceed 5 pages)
• CV or NIH biosketch
• Letter of reference/support from the faculty mentor
