Models of Disease (MoD) Boot Camp

Session Dates: July 12 – July 30, 2021
Application Deadline: May 21, 2021

Annual three-week course with leading faculty who present on recent discoveries & reviews of topics in biomedical science. Format: Interactive lectures & panel discussions.

Time Commitment:

Five weekday mornings per week for three weeks. The course will be held entirely over Zoom. There will be two catered lunches per week offered outdoors on the HMS Quad each week of the course so that students can meet one another (while physically distanced) in person.

Audience:

Scientific dialog, topical updates, career planning, faculty networking, and community building for clinical trainees beginning their basic/translational postdoctoral research fellowships.

Eligibility:

Current Harvard teaching hospital-based clinical trainees with substantive prior basic/translational research experience who plan to continue basic or translational projects in their postdoctoral research fellowships in 2021.

Fee:

Tuition-free. The course is supported by Harvard Catalyst and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
