Biostatistics Journal Club: Quantitative Methods and Opportunities in Implementation Science

Elysia Larson, ScD, MPH, Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, will lead a discussion on areas where biostatisticians are needed to advance the field of implementation science and dissemination. She will begin with an overview of implementation science, introduce relevant frameworks, and then discuss a paper by Allen and colleagues (2020) on measurement of health policy implementation.

Bio:

Elysia Larson, ScD, MPH, HMS, is a staff scientist in the OBGYN Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. She uses epidemiologic, econometric, and qualitative methods to conduct implementation science research, specifically measuring quality of healthcare and evaluating health system interventions and reforms.
