Eligibility and Tuition

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants must have an MD, PhD, or equivalent, and be poised to begin or be actively engaged in basic or clinical research.
  • Applicants must provide a brief statement of intent.
  • This online course requires weekly participation from September 2018-June 2019; all applicants are expected to complete the course.

This course is capped at 300 participants. Participants are selected based upon (1) completed application and (2) appropriate background and expectations as described in statement of intent. Participants are accepted in order of institutional priority (described below) and date of application submission.

It is highly recommended that interested applicants submit their applications as early as possible. External applicants should email course administrators in order to apply.

Harvard Catalyst's Postgraduate Education Program offers first priority to applicants who are current Harvard students, faculty, or current employees of Harvard University, its ten schools, and its seventeen academic healthcare centers (AHC). Also considered are applicants from Boston College School of Nursing, MIT, or Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. See the complete list of participating institutions.
