Module 1: Introduction to Community-Engaged Research

Module 2: Cultivating Effective Collaboration Between Researchers and Community Partners

Unit 3: Incorporating Community-Engaged Principles into Your Research and Practice

Participant Expectations
Participants are expected to dedicate one to two hours of time to the course each week. Course activities include watching videos, completing course activities, and responding to discussion board prompts.
A full course schedule has been included above. Participants may work through the course at their own pace but must meet the final course deadline in order to remain eligible for a certificate of completion and/or CME credit certificate.
Completing the Course
Each participant is eligible for a certificate of completion upon viewing all course lecture videos and completing course assignments.
CME Credit: The Harvard Catalyst Education Program is accredited by the Massachusetts Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Harvard Catalyst Education Program designates this enduring material for a maximum of 9.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™:
Only MD’s are eligible for CME credit and no partial credit is allowed. In order to receive CME credits, participants must complete the course in its entirety by the designated timelines listed in the aforementioned course schedule. Completion of the course includes the following:
- Watching all videos for the course
- Completing all corresponding lecture surveys
- Completing all course activities and discussion board prompts
- Completing the pre- and post-course surveys
Eligible participants may request certificates of completion and/or CME credit certificates through the end of the course evaluation survey, which is available as part of the course conclusion via the course website.
