Dave Zielinski, PhD

David Zielinski, PhD

Executive Director
Associate Dean, Clinical and Translational Research

David Zielinski is the executive director of Harvard Catalyst and associate dean for clinical and translational research at Harvard Medical School. In this capacity, he is responsible for all aspects of managing the center and translating the vision of its broader leadership and boards into reality. Prior to his current role, he was the associate dean of science for Columbia University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, overseeing key aspects of finance, faculty affairs, strategic planning, communications, and fundraising for the sciences. He also spent nearly a decade at the National Institutes of Health where he led offices focused on science policy and communications. He holds a PhD in developmental psychology from Cornell University and is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships for his work.
