Two-day course on skills needed to lead and manage a research team successfully

Leadership Strategies for the Researcher is designed to prepare clinical and translational investigators to confront the challenges of establishing a research program.

During the course, participants will learn how to:

  • Lead and manage a team
  • Develop programs and manage projects
  • Negotiate effectively
  • Hire and manage a workforce
  • Manage budgets and grants

All course materials will be made available to attendees. In order to maximize the learning experience, attendees are expected to commit the time for a thorough review of the course materials in advance.
