Medications and Society

Medications and Society The Harvard Interfaculty Initiative on Medications and Society is a collaborative effort to bring together faculty and students across all Departments and Schools of Harvard University who share an interest in how prescription drugs are developed, approved, regulated, and paid for; as well as how they are prescribed, viewed, and taken by patients.

Medications and Society

The Harvard Interfaculty Initiative on Medications and Society supports innovative and collaborative teaching projects and facilitates research at Harvard University exploring the economic, cultural, behavioral science, regulatory, and clinical aspects of prescription drug use through various activities and opportunities, including monthly seminars and bi-annual conferences. The Initiative strives to bring together interested faculty and students from across departmental lines on several Harvard campuses, identifying opportunities for students to access faculty expertise and serving as a clearinghouse to promote existing departmental and divisional colloquia, seminars, lectures, and conferences to the broader Harvard community.
