The Harvard Institute of Translational Immunology (HITI) is a collaborative effort bringing together basic, translational, and clinical investigators from across the Harvard community to develop interdisciplinary approaches for elucidating mechanisms of immune-mediated diseases. This knowledge will enable Harvard investigators to develop novel therapies, design immune-based assays to support clinical trials, and improve diagnostic approaches to these diseases. HITI also will promote the training of translational and clinical immunologists.
