Community Connect to Research Community Connect to Research is a public resource that features ongoing health research in the Harvard community and provides extensive information about health topics, ongoing clinical trials, the clinical research process, and community participation in research.

Community Connect to Research

The Public Communication component of the Harvard Catalyst Community Engagement Program supports communication with the public about the clinical research enterprise through Community Connect to Research. The site consists of several major sections:

  • Health Topics. Eighteen general health topics, comprising more than 100 detailed health articles providing detailed information on health issues. The health articles are linked with ongoing clinical trials in the Harvard community.
  • Understanding Research. These short articles explain clinical research and the clinical research process and provide links to outside resources, including a clinical trials tutorial.
  • Community Participation. Descriptions of how researchers, community organizations, and community members can work together in the research process, highlighting community-based participatory research, communities, and community organizations in the Greater Boston area.
  • Research Centers. Online health content provided by Harvard-affiliated research centers is available and organized by topic area.
