Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) is an emerging approach to research that equitably involves both the researchers and the community in all aspects of the research process. Thus it represents a paradigm shift away from a more traditional approach to research.
This section provides resources for investigators and researchers who are interested in learning more about CBPR. Information includes background materials such as examples of CBPR work and answers to frequently asked questions about CBPR. For Harvard researchers interested in CBPR, please complete this survey to be part of a Harvard-wide consortium of CBPR researchers.
For those who wish to pursue CBPR in their own project, contact Dr. Karen Hacker for information and access to technical assistance.
