    Presentations Available from Conference on Query Tool for Population-Based Research

    Presentations are now available for download from the first annual SHRINE Conference, “Guiding the Emergence of Bottom-up EHR-Driven National Research Networks”. The Shared Health Research Information Network (SHRINE) is a distributed query tool that helps researchers overcome one of the greatest problems in population-based research: compiling large groups of well-characterized patients.

    The Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics at the Harvard School of Public Health is holding its annual symposium “Antimicrobial Resistance: Biology, Population Dynamics and Policy Options” on Oct. 3-4, 2011. Abstracts for posters are being accepted through Aug. 31. Register for symposium by Sept. 19, 2011. Admission is free.
