The Hauser Clinical Research Training Program in Biological & Social Psychiatry

The Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry and Judge Baker Children’s Center are accepting applications for six postdoctoral clinical research fellowships the Stuart T. Hauser Research Training Program in Biological and Social Psychiatry. Supported by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), this program involves:

  • Independent research under the supervision of experienced clinical researchers in biological and social developmental fields
  • Participation in integrative seminars
  • Related coursework

The program offers diverse opportunities at over 41 sites to conduct research in such fields as:

  • Brain imaging
  • Psychophysiology
  • Psychopharmacology
  • Genetics
  • Neurochemistry
  • Social psychiatry
  • Child development
  • Longitudinal studies of adult development

These fellowships, which will start on July 1, 2010, are open to doctorates in biological/psychological sciences, psychiatrists, and other physicians. US citizenship or permanent residency required. Minority and MD applicants are strongly encouraged. These are one year appointments, renewable to two; salary is set to an NIMH-determined pay scale..

Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis starting immediately until the fellowships have been filled.
