Applications currently are available for the two-year Clinical Investigator Training Program (CITP) fellowship, which begins on July 1, 2010. A cooperative effort among Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, Pfizer Inc., and Merck & Company, the CITP consists of both a didactic curriculum and a mentor-supervised research program.
The goal of this fellowship, which is open to fellows from all Harvard teaching hospitals, is to train physicians from a variety of clinical disciplines in the techniques and processes utilized in patient-oriented research. CITP fellows have the option to pursue a Master of Medical Science degree from Harvard Medical School in conjunction with the program.
