Introduction to Clinical Investigation course applications are now due Sept. 8

Posted August 20, 2009

Due to an overwhelming response from the Harvard Catalyst community to the announcement of the Introduction to Clinical Investigation course, the course’s application window will close early.

The deadline for applications is now September 8; accepted applicants will be notified by September 11.

“We have already received more than 300 applications for the course,” said Harvard Catalyst Postgraduate Education Director Elliott Antman, M.D. “We are pleased to see so many people apply, and apply early, but we feel that it would be best to close the application period sooner than originally planned.

“We still encourage fellows and junior faculty with a career interest in clinical research to apply for the course by the new deadline,” Antman noted. “Also, having now seen the demand for this educational offering, we are already making plans to hold the course again in the spring.”

The course will next be offered March 1-5, 2010; watch the Harvard Catalyst website for announcements regarding the course, including the next call for applications.
