The partnership between Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC) and University of Massachusetts Boston (UMB) is pleased to announce that it will be accepting Concept Papers for research, training, and outreach projects (at full and pilot level) for inclusion in an NCI Comprehensive Minority Institution/Cancer Center U54 grant application, slated for submission in 2010.
The UMB-DF/HCC partnership is currently supported by an NCI U56 Partnership Grant, with the objective of addressing cancer health disparities in minority populations and improving research, training and outreach opportunities for under represented minority (URM) students, fellows, and faculty.
The concept papers — which should cover cancer research, cancer training, or cancer outreach — are due by September 1, 2009.
