The course, Understanding Biomarker Science: From Molecules to Images, is divided into four “blocks.”

  • Block 1: addresses the fundamental concepts in biomarker research
  • Block 2: includes four “how to” sessions, laying the foundation to advance biomarker research
  • Block 3: details challenges and successes in biomarker science, using examples of various organ damage and disease state conditions
  • Block 4: concludes with the next generation of translational biomarker sciences
