Updated: KL2 Medical Research Investigator Training (MeRIT) awards – applications accepted starting December 7, 2012

The Harvard Catalyst Postgraduate Education Program will soon open the application window for the KL2 Medical Research Investigator Training (MeRIT) awards, an exciting opportunity for:

• Senior fellows – those who will receive their first faculty appointment within 6-12 months
• Junior faculty – those within the first three years of their faculty appointment

Fellows and junior faculty from the health professions represented in Harvard Catalyst (e.g., medicine, dentistry, nursing) who are interested in pursuing rigorous training in clinical and translational research through a combined program of educational activities and mentored research are encouraged to apply.

The award cycle for the 2013 round of KL2 awards has been moved forward to a new start date of July 1, 2013. Applications will be accepted starting December 7, 2012 (please note this is an update from a previous posting which noted November 9) and must be completed by March 14, 2013 by 5:00pm EST.
