Deadline extended to propose an Exploratory Seminar at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced StudyThe application deadline for the Exploratory Seminars at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study has been extended until 9am on November 5, 2012. Tenure track faculty (assistant, associate and full professors) from any Harvard school are eligible to apply. These seminars convene scholars, researchers, and artists for short-term collaborations of up to three days and provide participants the opportunity to take intellectual risks working with colleagues from their own or other fields to define new questions, test hypotheses, jump-start collaborations, and initiate future research. Funding of up to $18,000 is available (covers food, travel, and lodging for seminar participants), with meeting space and administrative support for the seminars provided by the Radcliffe Institute of Advanced Study.
