Research Navigators
Research Navigators are PhD and/or MD scientists who facilitate clinical and translational research by connecting investigators to one another and to the resources they need. Research Navigators:
- Field inquiries from the Harvard clinical and translational science community.
- Link researchers to Harvard Catalyst funding opportunities and resources throughout Harvard and the affiliated healthcare institutions.
- Encourage and maintain collaborations and advisory relationships.
- Facilitate and improve access to Emerging Technology Centers, Translational Technology Cores and other resource centers.
- Participate in the award and management of Pilot Studies funding.
- Promote Harvard Catalyst through seminars, retreats, workshops and symposia.
Research Navigators are the eyes and ears of Harvard Catalyst, collecting feedback from the research community to improve Harvard Catalyst services. Research Navigators:
- Ensure that the Catalyst website remains a robust and useful search engine and data collection tool for investigators and trainees.
- Identify barriers to accessing technologies, mentors and other resources.
